The sacrifice of submission (1 Peter 2:11 to 25)
Christians are supposed to look different. Not in their dress or customs, but in a radically different lifestyle from the people around them.
Christians are called, to make an effort to Live such good lives to bring glory to God. They need to fight the spiritual battle against the desire to ignore or replace God in our calculations and pursue some other goal. Peter especially focusses on the attitude and action of respect. Christians are to give honour and respect in society (For the Lord’s sake); in the workplace (because they are conscious of God); and in all this following the example of Christ.
