Explore is a residential camp for those school years 4-8. There are four nights with everyone sleeping indoors, in dorms.

The camp is run by experienced DBS and church approved leaders and gives time to think and find out more about Jesus with age appropriate Bible teaching.

In 2024, Explore will be held at Hindleap Warren, Wych Cross Forest Row, East Sussex, RH18 5JH  (about 30 minutes away from Haywards Heath) on a site that boasts abseiling, climbing, archery, tunneling, paddle boarding, canoeing (Dependent on availability at time of residential) and more.

There will be a host of other fun activities organised just for you, including a campfire, dorm tournament, and a wide game.

All of the leaders at Explore are DBS checked members from Sussex Gospel Partnership Churches – Christ Church, Grace Church, Cuckfield Baptist Church, All Saints Lindfield.

The cost of Explore is £190 per child.

Booking

Booking is a two-step process beginning with the short form below and a £90 deposit per child, this enables us to book the location in advance and get the ball rolling.

In a few months’ time, we will then be in touch with the next step where we will ask for the second payment (£100) and for more information regarding those attending. All payments are to be made to Christ Church Haywards Heath using the reference ‘XPLR24/Name’, Sort: 40-11-65, Acc no: 30116173.

Financial help

We want to make Explore affordable for all to come who are members of our sending churches. Therefore you are able to apply for Bursary support during the booking process. We will ask for a reference from your pastor to support your application to confirm you are a member of the church and that this would be appropriate.

Examples of people who receive Bursary Support from us include those who work for a church or Christian Charity on a low income or who are part of a single- parent household, or those on a low income.
