Giving To Christ Church
We do not take a collection during our service but if you would like to give to the work of Christ Church, there are a number of ways you can
Why do we give?
Everything we have comes from God and we should give it all back to him as we use the gifts he has given us for his glory. This includes our wealth. We have responsibilities to provide for the needs of our families and to be generous to other people. But we also have the responsibility and privilege to give some of our wealth more directly to the work of the church.
God has been generous to us in so many ways. We want to be generous with the gospel but also with the resources God has given us, including our money.
We are not giving to the church as an organisation but as a living body doing Christ’s work in the world. We give money for preachers and people who can help us run ministry so we can make disciples and teach them so they can tell other people about Jesus. We give to support gospel work around the world. We give so the church can take care of particular needs within our fellowship
As Christians, we are to give willingly, cheerfully, generously and regularly. This can be done in a number of ways:
The most convenient way to give is by regular standing order. Standing orders can be set-up via most online banking apps/websites. Our bank details are
