General Election 2017 Announced
This morning, to the surprise of many, Theresa May announced a snap General Election. We need to react with faith and hope and continue in prayer. There are no surprises for our God. He knows the end from the beginning. He holds the hearts of all rulers in his hand. So we trust in his sovereign power and infinite wisdom.
But at the same time we recognise our responsibility as citizens in a democracy. We must carefully consider how to vote. We must discuss these issues with love and respect.
Most of all we must pray for our fellow voters, our rulers and our world, all in need of Jesus, the King of kings.
