Real Change course
Real Change is a course where you will learn more about how God changes us, It is an opportunity for you to grow in faith, in love and in hope. All of us have hearts that go astray; all of us face trouble that weighs on us. But Jesus meets us where we are, in the places where we struggle. God promises to work patiently with us in the midst of our waywardness and our woes. Faith meets God in the very place of honest struggle with sin and affliction. His mercy and grace change us in unbelievable ways that are truly beautiful and joyous. Real Change is for anyone who wants to grow to be more like Jesus and wants to connect the gospel to the real situations in their life.
This is a 6 week course so the last two weeks will be done at a time convenient for the group.
Ideas That Changed the World
Around 500 years ago a momentous change was spreading across Europe—a change that has become known as the Reformation. At the heart of the Reformation were four ideas and four leaders. The ideas: faith alone, grace alone, Bible alone and Christ alone. The leaders: Luther, Calvin, Tyndale and Cranmer. In the four sessions of this video-based course, we will explore these four simple yet profoundly important ideas; the key role these four men played in rediscovering and spreading them; and the stunning European locations where these historic events took place. We will also open our Bibles to study the same parts of Scripture that Luther, Calvin, Tyndale and Cranmer read that radically changed their world.
You will need to purchase a study guide for this course.
Image of God
The Image of God and how that doctrine relates to four different areas:
- The image of God and humanity
- The image of God and extra terrestrials
- The image of God and transhumanism
- Christ as the image of God
The main intention is to establish what the Bible teaches on the image of God and how that doctrine informs the way in which we navigate the above subjects biblically.
Shiny Christians
Paul told the Philippian believers that they would “shine… like stars in the sky as you hold firmly to the word of life”. In context, he meant that it was everyday discipleship which set them apart. In this series we will discuss some of the basics of living as a disciple of Jesus so we can ‘shine’ too.
We would love for you to sign up below and let us know which course you would like to do so that we can have an idea of numbers.
