Shaped by the Cross (Gospel Primer Week 3)
We are to live as Christians with open, humble hearts, knowing the gospel will keep me humble as I realise I am a sinner loved despite my failure not because of my success. Openness is a great way of expressing the gospel reality that our sins were laid bare at the Cross. We need an appropriate level of openness about our sin, struggles and needs. We are compelled by the love of Christ. It’s our motivation and model for evangelism. We love others most by telling them the gospel and living each day for Jesus.
