Seeing and believing (John 20:19 to 29)
Jesus appears to his disciples commissioning them and calling us to be on a mission like his, to seek and save the lost in surrender to the Father and he gives them the power of the Holy Spirit. Thomas was not with them the first time and he chooses not to believe their report but Jesus graciously makes another visit to convince him and lead him to repentance and faith.
As readers of John’s gospel we have the opportunity to hear their testimony and the blessing of believing although we do not see.
