Rahab, a prostitute becomes a princess (Joshua 2)
In the book of Joshua the story of the conquest of Jericho is interrupted by the story of Rahab. She hides the spies because she believes the LORD is the true God and the result of her faith and action is that she is saved when Jericho is destroyed. We learn from this that God is working to save, even in judgement, and that through God’s saving work we become part of the people of God.
