Judgement begins at the House of God (1 Samuel 2:12 to 36)

In contrast to the young boy Samuel, faithfully worshipping in the temple, the sons of the high priest Eli, profane the name of God. God will judge them, but at the same time he is going to preserve his people by raising up a faithful priesthood and a great prophet.

How does knowing Jesus is building God’s eternal house, a house that will never be destroyed, motivate you to honour God above all things and comfort you when you fail in honouring God above all things?
