Getting the Right Perspective (1 Corinthians 3:18 to 4:5)
In chapter 3:18-25 Paul talks about How to view ourselves properly and not be deceived into thinking we are wise, that we can outwit God. Self-deception stops us coming to Christ
Self-deception can cause division and pride. Rather, they needed to realise that they had got everything they needed in Christ.
In leading or serving in any way we need to be faithful stewards, taking care of the gospel by faithfully sharing it, recognising that they are not defined by anyone but the Lord and his judgment comes later.
