Thought for the Day – A Ray of Hope in the Darkness

This week’s ‘Thought for the Day’ is ‘A Ray of Hope in The Darkness’ and is based on the verses below.

If you want to hear more on this topic listen to Graham’s sermon on Jeremiah 32:1 – 33:26 preached on 15th March this year.

‘“In those days and at that time
I will make a righteous Branch sprout from David’s line;
he will do what is just and right in the land.

In those days Judah will be saved
and Jerusalem will live in safety.
This is the name by which it will be called:
The Lord Our Righteous Saviour.”

For this is what the Lord says: “David will never fail to have a man to sit on the throne of Israel, nor will the Levitical priests ever fail to have a man to stand before me continually to offer burnt offerings, to burn grain offerings and to present sacrifices.”

Jeremiah 33 vs. 15 – 17

As we’re all having to adjust to a new way of life, let’s be reminded of the power that God’s word brings to every situation. Every day the elders of Christ Church Haywards Heath will be sharing a short ‘Thought of the Day’ as we seek to keep our eyes on our sovereign God.
