Broken bones and broken hearts, redundancy and bankruptcy, lost dreams and lost loved ones, disease and death. Why do bad things happen to good people? The so-called problem of evil is cited as one of the biggest obstacles to faith in the western world, and that’s why it’s crucial for us as Christians to have our heads on straight when it comes to this topic. We need to be ready to give an answer for the hope that we have, and to be equipped to deal with suffering in our own lives.
