Training towards being in full time pastoral ministry with particular responsibility for youth and children’s work

Do you sense a call to pastoral ministry and seek a supportive environment for growth and training? Christ Church Haywards Heath is offering a four-year Trainee Paid Pastor position to equip and develop future church leaders.
Christ Church Haywards Heath is a growing and diverse independent evangelical church. Our Sunday gatherings of around 200 people include a thriving children’s and youth ministry, and our week is filled with small groups focused on discipleship and outreach.
We are seeking a Trainee Paid Pastor (focussed on youth and children’s ministry) for a fixed term of four years starting September 2025. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience across a wide range of pastoral activities, with a particular focus on overseeing and developing our outreach and discipleship among youth, children, and their families. You will receive dedicated mentorship and theological training to prepare you for future church leadership.
Salary: £32,000 – £40,000 per annum, depending on skills and experience.
