23rd – 27th May 2026
Explore is a four-night residential camp for those in School Years 4-8.
The camp is run by a partnership of churches in Mid Sussex, and aims to give children a great time away, as well as time to think and find out more about Jesus, with age-appropriate Bible teaching. There will be a host of other fun activities organised by the leaders, including a campfire, dorm tournament, a wide game and time to chill with crafts.
Explore will be held at Hindleap Warren, Wych Cross Forest Row, East Sussex, RH18 5JH (about 30 minutes away from Haywards Heath) on a site that boasts abseiling, climbing walls, archery, an obstacle course including tunnels, paddle boarding, canoeing and more. Children sleep in dormitories, in rooms with bunk beds, and we are well-fed by the Hindleap Warren kitchen team.
All of the leaders at Explore are DBS checked members from Sussex Gospel Partnership Churches – Christ Church, Grace Church, Cuckfield Baptist Church, All Saints Lindfield and Good News Church Hurstpierpoint.
The full cost for Explore 2026 is £220 per child.

Financial help
We want to make Explore affordable for all children who are members of our sending churches. Therefore, it is possible to apply for Bursary support during the booking process.
We will ask for a reference from the leader of the church your child attends to support your application. We will ask the pastor or vicar to confirm that you are either a member of the church or that your child attends a group run by the church, and that a bursary would be appropriate.
Examples of people who receive Bursary Support from us include those who work for a church or Christian Charity on a low income, or who are part of a single-parent household, or those on a low income.
