The Assyrians and the Babylonians were two of the fiercest and feared empires of the ancient world.  By looking at the discoveries of archaeology we trace their impact on the biblical history of Judah and Israel.  Some of the evidence will confirm the accuracy of the Bible, some will throw light onto the Bible text, and some will simply surprise you.
